Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada by her character as Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. The daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending practice sessions for plays. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans her good announcement that she became pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase in the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the third season finale episode premiered on the 6th of January, 2013. She announced via Twitter her intention to return June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! voted it as top TV couple of the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
